In healthcare technology, innovation alone isn't enough - successful implementation determines whether a solution truly transforms clinical practice. As DeepScribe's Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Dean Dalili brings a physician's perspective to the critical intersection of product development and real-world adoption.
In this interview, Dr. Dalili shares DeepScribe's two-part methodology for achieving exceptional adoption rates: first, building intuitive products through deep partnership with clinicians, and second, methodical implementation that generates genuine organizational momentum. His insights underscore how DeepScribe's hands-on approach is what creates the foundation for sustained success.

The keys to really driving high rates of success, being able to get really high rates of adoption is a is a two part journey. The first part is is really building great product. We build a great product through partnership, really understanding what are the clinical needs of the user in terms of their workflow, what parts of the clinical workflow we need to capture in terms of the content and how we structure it, both for the clinical reporting and also for the financial reporting. And so the first phase is just building product that's meant to be successful and that's easy to use.
The second phase of this is how we implement the product and how we go live. When we introduce the product in a pilot, and then get early feedback, how do we take that enthusiasm and methodically move it through the organization and create a wave of momentum? Part of that for us is coming on-site like we are here today, being elbow to elbow with people as they first engage with the product, as they use it and, work through any of the early experiences in terms of the feedback and how we can do customization, and then making sure that they're set up for success. We see that that momentum just continues to carry forward, and that's that's how we get to the highest levels of adoption.
